1. Areas to be painted: Plaster/Gypsum wallboard Walls, Wood trim (Base, wainscot, Crown, etc), over wallpaper walls, Plaster/Gypsum wallboard ceiling soffits, Door casings and frames, metal portion of wood doors with window lite, interior metal window frames, columns, etc. Note: Contractor to color match 203 locations at cabinetry where laminate is missing. 2. Excluded Areas are the following: Elevators, IT Closets, Mechanical rooms, Electrical rooms, Wood stain doors (excluding the window framing). 3. Prepare surface for new finish as required. Minor prep includes filling of small holes and cracks, removal of dirt, grease, oils, waxes, mildew, and any other surface contaminates. Removal of rubber base glue at wall is mandatory so new 6” rubber base can be installed (by others). 4. Application to be by roller for Wall/Soffit surfaces. Other surfaces to use a quality nylon, polyester, or combination as per Manufacturer’s recommendations. 5. Coordinate the Wall covering that will be removed, and others that will be painted to receive a primer prior to paint. 6. The Contractor to coordinate with existing furnishings as required for a full installation. Pictures, electronics, etc. will be removed prior to work. Coordinate with signage. 7. Do not paint the following unless noted otherwise: Factory finished items, Cabinetry, Fire Rating labels, Room signage, unpainted metalwork, Concealed pipes, ducts, conduits.
