Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project will consist of a The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority (HMCAA) SECURITY SYSTEMS REPLACEMENT PROJECT will be a comprehensive upgrade to the airport’s security system, including: Communications Center Upgrades – scope consists of extensive renovation to the existing communications center to incorporate the new security system equipment, hardware, consoles and video wall, associated building and electrical system upgrades. Communication support for security systems and equipment includes copper and fiber. Also includes interior finishes, millwork, flooring and lighting, a temporary command center to be constructed within the existing EOC Room of the Communications Building with supporting control room, consoles, communications, equipment, architectural, minor mechanical and electrical systems. Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Replacement – scope includes replacement of all CCTV cameras within the concourse & terminal with IP megapixel cameras POE, on the apron and airfield, as well as the parking decks and other airport property locations. New fiber to be routed in dedicated conduits throughout the airport. New cameras will be installed to ensure adequate situational awareness and to provide HSV with the capability to identify subjects of interest when and where required. Access Control and Monitoring System (ACAMS) – scope of the system includes reporting of events, electronic audits, financial managing, Infraction Managing, Vehicle managing, access managing, biographic information storage, airport document manager, biometric enrollment, Training, Credential Production and Physical Access Control. Project will replace existing magnetic locks (maglocks) and install new locks on newly created access control doors. Door position switches (DPS or BMS) will also be replaced by this task. Scope includes the rebadging of the airport personnel with new FIPS 201-2 compliant badges, new locking capabilities on selected doors with an independent locking system to upgrade the existing Cyber lock system and an upgrade of the existing Medico Key system
