Specifications include, but are not limited to: Remove existing refrigeration systems and move from site. Bally unit or pre-approved equal (see specification sheets attached), a 10 day prior approval before bid opening is requested for pre-approved equal. Install 2 Freezer Systems- Condensers, 2 HP, 208-230-3-ph, Pre-Charged Air-Cooled, Scroll Type, Low Temp Standard Compressor Units. 2-Evaporators, Low Temp, Electric Defrost, Standard Unit. 1 Cooler System – Condenser 1HP, 208/230/60/3, Pre-Charged Air-Cooled Scroll Unit. 1 Evaporator, Medium Temp, Air Defrost, Standard Unit. Install new piping for all three systems plus drain lines. Hard copper piping required drain lines to include heater drain line kits. All drain lines trapped and run to existing drain hubs. Final electrical required on all units and will come with double compressor. Rack for freezer units and single compressor rack for cooler unit. Air curtains installed by successful bidder for the walk-in freezer unit. 404 Type Refrigerant. It is preferred that the system be replaced over the Christmas break for the Jefferson County School District. The unit replacement from beginning to end will be completed within 48 hours from start to finish. The owner does not want to have to remove food items from units during the replacement of the system. The cooler and freezer units must maintain proper temperatures during the replacement to ensure safety of the food. Freezer units should remain at or below zero degrees Fahrenheit and the cooler units must remain below 40 degrees Fahrenheit during the replacement of the system. If any food items are compromised it is the responsibility of the bidder to replace the dollar amount of any food lost. *Units to have 1 Year Parts & Labor and 5 Year Compressor Warranties.
