Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE), Special Education Services (SES) is seeking proposals from eligible applicants to provide the design, development, training, evaluation, and refinement of the Student Service Review (SSR) tool. This process is for compliance monitoring, quality assurance, and statewide practice development. The purpose of this project is to provide training to state reviewers and to special educators in selected LEAs. Design, conduct, analyze, and report data from an inter-rater reliability study for members of the ALSDE, SES's SSR review pool. • Provide feedback to the ALSDE , SES about the performance of the SSR reviewe r pool and demonstrate the effectiveness of the monitoring tools , processe s , and data results to Federal Program Monito r s from the Office of Special Education Programs. • Provide consultation on the SSR and its efficacy-reliability to assist ALSDE in addressing the performance of certain LEAs in the provision of special education services.
