The contractor shall be responsible for removing the existing (old) Generac generator located at the Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency, 23100 McAuliffe Drive, Robertsdale, AL 36567 and placing the existing (old) generator on a truck or trailer for hauling away by County staff. The contractor will be responsible for then unloading the existing (old) generator at the Baldwin County Highway Department Area 200 Maintenance facility located at 15605 Silverhill Avenue, Silverhill, AL 36576. The new generator will be placed on the existing concrete pad. The contractor shall be prepared to make at least one return visit to the site to complete the installation, including but not limited to connection of the natural gas meter and regulator to the new natural gas generator. The contractor is strongly encouraged to visit the site and become familiar with the existing generator screen walls, overall access to the site, and become aware of the means and methods required to deliver and place the new generator as well as place and operate any lifting equipment needed for removal of the existing (old) generator and placement of the new generator. The contractor is also strongly encouraged to visit the unloading site at the Baldwin County Highway Department Area 200 facility so that it is understood the travel distance of the unloading site of the existing (old) generator from the installation site of the new generator.
