Specifications include, but are not limited to: Providing professional management and administrative services related to the implementation of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement program and other programs funded by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (e.g.: HOME) or other agencies issuing funds for Community Development efforts. PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: This task may include but not be limited to 1. preparation of a HUD approved Consolidated Plan, yearly Action Plans, citizen participation plans, and environmental review records. 2. Assist in the implementation of approved plans, including but not limited to preparing all necessary documents to remove grant conditions, preparing "requests for funds" to ensure consistency with all applicable accounting procedures, establishing and maintaining project files, monitoring program progress, assuring compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and requirements preparing bid and contract documents, preparing and submitting all periodic reports as required by the city, HUD or other funding sources, preparing closeout documents for submission to HUD upon completion of projects and other duties as required for community development. and providing staff training to carry out project assigned activities.
