Central Alabama Water requires that only pipe manufacturers may submit proposals for CAW “Pipe Bid” and the pipe manufacturers who submit a bid must supply the pipe, V-Bio enhanced polyethylene encasement. Note: (This Bid is for PIPE ONLY) Mechanical joint fittings and accessoriesto be quoted in their respective bid. CAW requiresthe ability to direct all their questions regarding parts, delivery and product concerns that arise after bid award to the bidder who is awarded the “Pipe Bid”. The approved vendors for CAW are ACIPCO, McWane and U.S. Pipe. If a vendor must purchase the pipe that he is unable to provide, he can only purchase the pipe from the approved CAW vendors. If purchased elsewhere, this bid will be rejected.
