1. Vendor shall bid a complete pest control service consisting of providing all equipment, supervision, labor, pesticide and any other materials necessary to perform services. 2. Services on a monthly or quarterly basis shall include but not be limited to rodents, insects, arachnids, arthropods, nest of stinging insects within the property boundaries and other infectious pests inside and outside of buildings. 3. All chemicals and pesticides used must comply with the latest state and federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards governing the health and safety of humans and animals. 4. Vendor shall be responsible for the application of pesticides according to the label and all application regulations. 5. Vendor shall take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of county employees and the public. 6. Vendor must ensure that trained personnel with proper licenses apply pesticides. 7. Pesticides shall not be stored in any county building. 8. Pesticide applications shall not have a deleterious effect on painted surfaces, asphalt, or floor covering. 9. Odorless chemicals shall be applied in areas that are requested by departments at no additional charge. 10. Gel packs shall be placed on the exterior of buildings. Spraying the exterior of the building will be completed at no additional charge. 11. Fogging shall be restricted to exceptional circumstances where problems are constant. 12. Prices quoted should include call back service request that may be necessary for troublesome or spontaneous outbreaks of pests. 13. Successful vendor must be able to respond to an as needed service call within twenty-four (24) hours of initial request, including after hours, weekends and holidays.
