The Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund Advisory Board (herein referred to as the Board) operates under the authority of the Code of Alabama 1975, § 22-30D-1 et seq., (hereinafter referred to as the Act). It is the Board’s responsibility to manage the Trust Fund created by the Act and, among other things, to reimburse eligible participants, including eligible owners/operators and wholesale distributors, for costs incurred from the investigation and clean-up of contamination caused by drycleaning agents. The Board also establishes standards and reimbursement rate schedules for consultants retained to address drycleaning contamination. Pursuant to the Act, the Board consists of seven members and meets four times per year. It is the intent of the State of Alabama and the Board to solicit proposals for an Administrative Services Contract to provide administrative management, legislative monitoring, and logistical support services to the Board.
