Alabama Department of Workforce (hereinafter “ADOW”)is seeking sealed proposals from qualified individuals or entities offering moving services to relocate the ADOW from multiple locations to a consolidated location in Montgomery, Alabama. Recent legislative action has renamed the Alabama Department of Labor and added all workforce development programs previously administered by the Department of Commerce to create the newly established Alabama Department of Workforce. To accommodate the staff of approximately 450 employees located in the main office of the current Department of Labor located at 649 Monroe Street, Montgomery, AL 36131 will need to be renovated. During this period, these employees based in Montgomery will be relocated from three different locations within Montgomery to the Gordon Persons Building at 50 North Ripley Street. ADOW may award multiple contracts to multiple Proposers. The selected Proposer(s) will: A. Move office items to include but not limited to furniture, glass tops, framed wall art, lamps, rugs, metal shelving, boxed records and file cabinets B. Move IT equipment such as personal monitors of various sizes, personal scanners, desktop printers, portable Microsoft Hubs with stands, (15) wall mounted TVs of various sizes ranging from 43” to 75”, (4) 85” wall mounted Microsoft Hubs with brackets. C. Move large mailroom equipment to include but not limited to mail sorters and inserters. D. Move smaller mailroom equipment to include but not limited to postage machines and other tabletop machinery.
