Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Career Academies of Decatur is accepting proposals for middle school level STEM curriculum that includes ProjectBased Learning modules to incorporate into our Greenpower-Engineering classes at our two middle schools and one junior high school. The Greenpower program is a premier Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program that provides students in grades 4 through 12 a hands-on, project-based learning experience that engages students academically and builds critical employability skills. Students in the Greenpower-Engineering classes design, build, and race electric powered race cars. This request for proposal has been published to gather proposal for the addition of Project-Based STEM curriculum in our Greenpower-Engineering classes at Austin Middle, Austin Junior High, and Decatur Middle Schools.
