The Prototype Integration Facility (PIF), Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Aviation and
Missile Center, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting
market research to identify parties having an interest to acquire a master model and manufacture/bonding
tool. The tool is to be used for fabrication of the Number One (1) Composite Tunnel Cover for the CH-47F and
MH-47G aircraft. The manufacturing tool will provide an accurately dimensioned and thermally stable
platform to manufacture the Tunnel Cover when placed into an autoclave and processed at 350 degrees and
45 psi. The master model is used to manufacture the manufacturing/bonding tool.
BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY
BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN
COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered.

PARTICIPATION IN ANY FUTURE REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) OR INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) OR RFP, IF ANY
ISSUED. IF A SOLICITATION IS RELEASED, IT WILL BE SYNOPSIZED ON THE GOVERNMENT-WIDE POINT OF
