Specifications include, but are not limited to: Obtain a minimum of two qualified and dedicated full-time onsite technical resources as part of the managed internal broadband service to effectively ensure that Management and Operations of the Birmingham City Schools internal broadband network continues at the current level of quality needed. The networks must be maintained with the highest possible level of quality and professionalism. Birmingham City Schools is interested in establishing a contract with a vendor experienced and qualified in such contracts that will provide the quality of services, products and equipment requested in a professional and timely manner. ; Establish capability to monitor the network infrastructure by linking to the BCS network management systems, including the BCS service and support ticket system. Respond to issues and events. Provide initial troubleshooting within agreed SLA. One hour to respond to event and provide initial troubleshooting. Escalate to tier 2 qualified technical support for resolution and dispatch to BCS facilities if 8 necessary to maintain within SLA. Coordinate and escalate and manage through resolution of third-party providers of services as needed. Manage the dispatch of qualified technical resources to recover/resolve the network infrastructure issue. Obtain access to BCS network equipment stock if necessary. Configure and replace equipment with appropriate configuration. Test and verify operations. Document and return failed equipment to manufacturer for repair.
