Proof of Horticulture/Landscaping License and insurance of $1,000,000 or more; 3. If winning bid for this project is $50,000 or more a Contractor’s License is required as per Alabama law. If you are the winning bid of $50,000 or more and do not have a Contractor’s license your bid will be disqualified and the next lowest bid will be awarded the bid. 4. Lawn care and maintenance shall include mowing grass, weed eating, spraying weeds and grass, mulching, weeding, maintenance of flower beds, maintenance and pruning of shrubbery, and clean up sidewalks and walk areas; 5. Mulch used must be shredded hardwood. New mulch material must be added once during spring break and once in early August before the start of school; 6. Restricted mowing times include standardized testing, PE, special events, and etc. 7. During the Fort Payne High School football season mowing should be done at Fort Payne High School on Wednesdays before Thursday night football games and on Thursdays before Friday night football games weather permitting. 8. Lawn care and maintenance process to be performed every 7 days; 9. Start date: March 1, 2026, End date: Feb 28, 2027; 10. 38 mowings per year with 2 mowings in November, 2 mowings in December, and 2 mowings in January; 11. Each mowing must be completed in 2 days’ time weather permitting; 12. Payments will be monthly through the start and end dates; 13. 30 Days’ Notice must be given by either party to cancel contract
