A. Pruning 1. Contractor shall contact Landscape Services prior to pruning. 2. Selective pruning shall be performed any time needed based on industry standards and no less than (2) times per year to promote plant health, accentuate natural shape and growth habit, renewal pruning maybe required. Remove all dead wood to prevent harboring insects or 8 disease. All pruning shall be done by hand or gas powered or electrical shears. All shearing must have prior approval by Auburn University Landscape Services. 3. All pruning and thinning main objective shall be to retain the plant's natural shape unless otherwise directed. Shearing will be directed by Auburn University Landscape Services. 4. Plant material obstructing pedestrian or automobile traffic shall be pruned as requested by Auburn University Landscape Services.
