HVAC Supplier Work Scope Responsibility: Supplier shall perform all Work Scope and Service Requirements per this specification: Refrigerant upgrade from R22 to R410A shall be required. Work scope requires complete removal and replacement with installation of all existing equipment associated with unit 5 inside & outside. Supplier shall complete project as continuous installation work. Supplier responsible for purchase of Trane HVAC replacement equipment, Supplier shall replace existing Thermostat(s) with standard programmable thermostat(s) with lockout capabilities. Supplier shall manage supply and delivery for all HVAC equipment replacements. Supplier shall supply all required miscellaneous materials and supplies and provide all labor. Supplier responsible for correct sizing of refrigerant Liquid line size and suction line connection size that shall be used. Supplier shall check for use of existing drain lines to evaporator unit and air handler unit for condensate for air handler associated with specified unit. Supplier shall blow out all associated drain lines per AHU unit. Supplier shall replace all filter driers close to AHUs in refrigerant piping Supplier shall perform leak pressure check and flush all associated refrigerant line sets (copper lines) upgrading to code where needed, and check connections for replacement equipment. Supplier shall also check copper lines length for fit up to current space and replacement equipment needs to meet code and adjust where needed Supplier shall review and verify load calculations for all new replacement units to assure building efficiency heating/cooling fits need of space requirements. Supplier shall inspect ductwork associated with specified replacement unit for insulation breakdown, and potential blockage, and blow out if needed to meet code requirements. If replacement is not necessary then supplier shall Provide equipment tie-in with existing ductwork where applicable, not jeopardizing the integrity of system performance. Assure fire dampers are opened Supplier shall review all related existing electrical, whips included to assure replacement units are compliant for requirements, replace where needed Due to existing equipment age supplier shall check amperage and line voltage of current system from main breaker to disconnect, and from disconnect to unit throughout entire electrical system and confirm associated electrical is still acceptable for fit of replacement system. Make upgrades if necessary to meet code requirements. Supplier shall provide equipment start up validations, plus bring all applicable HVAC units to full operation while meeting industry code requirements. Includes complete operational Prove-out of individual replacement units plus complete check and balance. Supplier responsibility shall include provisions for building site safety and clean up. Supplier shall always enforce safety practices from start up through project completion. Site is an active office working environment. Supplier shall provide all required equipment rentals includes dumpster if needed Supplier responsible for securing and protecting all equipment from start up through to project completion.
