1. All service personnel providing service on the fire alarm systems must be certified by NICET (National Institution for Certification in Engineering Technologies) at a minimum of level 2 for fire protection technology. Proof of such certification shall be provided with bid response. 2. Successful bidder must maintain adequate replacement parts to maintain systems (assuming parts are still available and must be able to acquire parts within 24 hours.) 3. Successful bidder must have a technician available on a 24-hour basis. Bidder must provide a two-hour response time for emergency calls. 4. Proprietary Software: Reprogramming of CPU, minimum certification and parts to be arranged with proprietary vendor. 5. The hourly rate shall begin when the service personnel are on the job site. 6. Service personnel must check in with school board personnel. 7. All labor shall have a one (1) year warranty; parts shall carry the manufacturer’s warranty. 8. Bidder must provide five (5) references of similar work. This is to include company name, contact name, phone number, e-mail address and the type of work performed. 9. All bidders must be a factory authorized distributor of the following: A. Edwards System Technology and/or B. Simplex 10. Telguard TG7FS Commercial Fire Alarm Communicators are installed at approximately (90 +/-) locations for the wireless communicator. The awarded contractor will have the knowledge and resources to maintain and monitor the existing wireless communications system under their own wireless account. It will be the responsibility of the awarded contractor to establish and maintain a customer account with Telguard for any registering and maintenance of the transmitters.
