The Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries is seeking an annual and quarterly inspection contract for HVAC and related systems at our J. B. Taylor Regional Poultry Diagnostic Laboratory located at 495 State Road 203, Elba, AL 36323. Specifications: (1) Vendors must be able to directly access existing Trane software controls. (2) Vendor must validate to the Department of Agriculture & Industries the existence of a physical office within 90 miles of each of the afore-mentioned locations of Service. Vendor must have certified technicians to work on Trane Tracer control systems (Trane Connect, Tracer Synchrony, Tracer SC, and Tracer Summit). (3)Technicians must be capable of equipment programming for chillers, air handler, exhaust systems, packaged units, split-systems, VRF, etc. (4) Technicians must be capable of integration assistance into various generators, computer room air conditioning units, pressurization systems, etc. (5) Technicians must be capable of graphic creation and graphic manipulation. (6) Vendor must provide a 24/7 availability in terms of service technician availability. (7) Vendor must validate performance as a company for at least the past five years within the State of Alabama. (8) Vendor must provide basic supplies such as grease, cleaning solvents, and wiping cloths. (9) Vendor must provide vibrational analysis services on all “spinning items”. This includes fans, pumps, compressors, etc. (10) Report outs must be provided to the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries. (11) Vendor must have technicians that are trained and capable of both servicing and maintaining the following type of equipment: Helical-rotary, air-cooled chillers, Commercial air handling system, Variable frequency drives (must be able to program, modify, repair, etc.), Variable air volume boxes, Water source heat pumps, Pumps, Large commercial packaged rooftop units (5 tons and greater), and 100% outdoor air, DOAS units (including hot gas bypass, hot gas reheat, economizing sequences, etc.). (12) Vendor must provide the following staff (or similar staff) to support the needs of the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries: Dedicated account representative, Service managers represented in each of the areas where facilities and labs exist, and Dedicated, 24/7 service coordinators that can respond to service calls at any time. This includes a service phone line that is monitored at all times. (13) Service technicians that live within one hour of each of the facilities and labs. (14) Administration services for billing, invoices, etc.
