This is for 45 light poles, each with a PowerChiton Micro amp and a pair of Vernal speakers. The bid must include mounting hardware and cables to connect the speakers to the amp. This assumes speakers to be put on poles approximately every hundred feet (See Map for details). For local access near the Christmas tree and the gazebo, include two BreakoutBox XL, which could be configured to stream to a local set of speakers (or all of them). For zone control, two source streamers along with a zone mixer for installation in the mayor’s office at city hall. The City of Opelika will add a wireless access point to a powerchiton, for streaming or other applications, All Enclosures must be IP55 Rated Enclosures, IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n Compliant. The Breakout box for the PowerChiton amplifier family allows the user to directly connect microphones and line-level accessories (eg iPod, CD player) to a PowerChiton. The unit has three-line level inputs and mic-level XLR input, with individual gain controls. The Lockable box provides secure storage of wired mic or similar accessories. The City of Opelika will provide all power hookups within the streetlights.
