Specifications include, but are not limited to: At a minimum, the City of Opelika requires the solution to address the following high-level requirements: 1. Provide mechanical and electronic hardware for doors with access control 2. Provide wiring and configuration to all electronic access control devices and sensors 3. Provide software, controllers, and all control hardware for access control 4. Provide integration with handicap operators 5. Provide training, configuration, and documentation on the access control system 6. The Access control system software must be cloud-based 7. Provide quotations on a project-by-project basis 8. Provide total cost of ownership for 3- and 5-year periods 9. Provide support for current HID key fobs 10. Estimate annual recurring maintenance costs for each project 11. Support the solution through a variety of communication methods and knowledge sources 12. Align the solution implementation with the City’s project goals, operation systems, and existing network/computing environment.
