Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Huntsville, Department of Parking & Public Transit (hereinafter referred to as Public Transit) is requestingproposals from qualified firms, Contractors, Contractor teams or individuals to undertake Phase I of a ComprehensiveOperating Analysis (hereinafter referred to as COA) of its current fixed route bus system (the Shuttle).This study should assess the bus routes currently serving the City of Huntsville; and assess the feasibility, impacts, cost andbenefits associated with possible modifications for efficiency, and coverage area improvements in order to maximize andincrease ridership and reduce headways.2.0PROJECT OVERVIEWPublic Transit strives to efficiently use available funding to provide the highest quality of service possible in order tomeet the transit needs of the community, maximize ridership and provide ongoing system evaluation.
