The product shall be 100% active machine dishwashing detergent in a solid capsule equipped with a handle for ease in handling. The solid detergent shall contain corrosion inhibitors, chlorine and water conditioner, and shall be safe for washing aluminum ware when used as directed. The detergent capsule shall be designed to prevent misuse by employees, to provide safety and control of detergent usage and costs. The solid detergent capsule shall be fed and controlled by an electronic controller designed for use as an automatic detergent concentration controller. The product shall be biodegradable. The product shall contain phosphate water conditioners. The product shall meet the following: Chlorine 1.4-2.2% Active alkalinity as Na:O Silica as SiO₂ Phosphate as P₂O Carbonate as CO, 15.0-25.0% 10.0-15.0% 11.5-17.5%, 3.0-7.0% pH of a 1.0% solution (typical) 12.0-12.2% Product shall be packed in four (4) 9-lb. capsules per case.
