All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Fire Sprinkler and Back Flow Preventer inspections shall be tested and inspected on annual basis per NFPA 25 standard guide to testing and inspecting fire sprinkler systems. Per NFPA 25 code requirement When Backflow system is protecting sprinkler then sprinkler shall be tested quarterly per code requirement. This service specification does not cover Fire Alarm System Inspections or repairs and does not cover Fire Extinguisher Inspections or repairs. Supplier shall not perform any services or repairs that are not covered under this specification. Supplier shall not be paid for unauthorized service, repair, or replacement work not covered. Supplier shall perform all sprinkler and backflow preventer inspections, per NFPA 25 standard guide to testing and inspecting fire sprinkler systems. Supplier shall comply with all required national, state, city, county, and local codes associated with Fire Sprinkler and Back Flow Preventer Inspections during the term of this PO service. All technicians that perform inspections on DHR fire sprinkler systems and backflow systems during the term of this agreement shall maintain current (NICET) certification (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. Supplier shall maintain a current business license during the term of this agreement. Upon Award supplier shall not perform any service or inspection without purchase order in advance. Supplier shall schedule date and time for inspections through county office POC (point of contact) prior to service work performed. All inspections shall be scheduled in advance. Upon arrival on site, supplier shall sign in at front desk and contact county office POC upon arrival, prior to performing inspection. Supplier may be turned away if service appointment is not scheduled in advance. Supplier shall provide DHR County Office with a service report at completion of inspections detailing service work description, date of service, and deficiencies, and itemizing sprinkler equipment & Backflow equipment.
