Specifications include, but are not limited to: 14. The building pad subgrade will be constructed to within +/- 1/10’ by others..; 15. The contractor will be responsible for excavating and constructing all the required footings (24” x 24” x 18” thick depth with two #4 rebar under all columns).; 16. The contractor will be responsible for placing, grading and compacting the required 4” of stone below the slab.; 17. The contractor will be responsible for termite pre-treatment.; 18. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing 10 mil moisture barrier.; 19. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing 8 gauge welded wire reinforcement in the entire slab.; 20. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and placing and finishing 3000 psi concrete.; 21. The slab will be 4” thick and require a light broom finish in open areas.; 22. The slab will require a ½ percent crown in open areas to ensure positive drainage after a blowing rain event.; 23. The contractor will be responsible for sawing all required contraction joints.; 24. The contractor will furnish and apply sealant to all surfaces with Euclid Diamond Clear (or equivalent) curing and sealing compound.; 25. The contractor will be responsible for providing the 3/8” Hot Dipped Galvanized column baseplate anchors as shown in the List of Drawings/Pictures. Baseplates: 8”x 8”x 3/8”, Column Angles: 6” x 6” x 12” x 3/8”.; 26. The building location illustration and building layout is attached. Any questions regarding these documents should be asked by the contractor prior to bidding.; 27. This structure shall be designed and constructed to comply with IBC Chapter 16 Structural Design, including but not limited to withstanding roof dead loads specific to the assembly, roof live loads of 20 pounds per square foot, ground snow loads of 5 pounds per square foot, ultimate wind speed of 115 miles per hour, risk category of Type II, and seismic category of Type C. The surface roughness and exposure categories shall be site specific.
