The Contractor will be responsible for performing and/or working with the Alabama Board of Examiners and Executive Director to ensure academic requirements for licensure are met per Section 34-8A-1, Code of Alabama (1975): • Review and evaluation of graduate coursework, potential previous supervision, completed by applicants seeking licensure through the Board (initial licensure or endorsement of a current license from another state). • Communication with other state licensing boards to determine their licensing requirements for both past and current licensing. • Review and evaluation of ALC’s request to use academic coursework in place of supervision. • Communication with applicants regarding application files and Board needs and decisions regarding their applications, as necessary. • Ability to compare applicant academic background to ABEC Code and Administrative Rules and concisely explain the correspondences and discrepancies (if any).
