The Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) seeks proposals from qualified suppliers that will provide strategic guidance and administrative oversight for school districts placed under intervention by the State Superintendent of Education pursuant to Alabama law. The ALSDE is seeking proposals from eligible applicants that will assist and support a local school board and school system under State intervention by providing academic leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight. The supplier also will work to ensure that the local board and underperforming LEA is compliant with state and federal law and regulations. Moreover, the supplier will work to improve and sustain performance in critical areas designated by the State Superintendent. Finally, the selected supplier must also have the capacity to serve as fully as Chief Administrative Officer as provided by law.
