Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Supplier shall be a member of at least two of the following professional organizations: • National Association of Professional Background Screeners • Professional Background Screening Association • National Drug & Alcohol Screening Association • Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association 2. Supplier shall attach to this bid what policies and procedures that the supplier has in place to audit employment screening searches for regulatory compliance and accuracy each year. 3. Supplier shall use researchers, who physically search records at local courthouses, where criminal records are not included in a national “instant” criminal database or are not reported timely to a national “instant” criminal database. 4. Supplier must have third party researchers available for all 50 states. 5. Supplier shall provide a written statement explaining what type of a quality control/quality assurance process that each background check would go through, to ensure the accuracy of any criminal conviction on a candidate. 6. Supplier shall adhere to a criminal history check of no more than 7 years and/or pursuant to any applicable Federal or State laws that arise.
