This Request for Proposal is seeking a consultant to communicate and coordinate necessary actions taken or contemplated by the ALBOP with various state and local government entities in Alabama, organizations representing local governments (e.g., Alabama County Commissioners Association and the Alabama League of Municipalities), healthcare agencies (e.g., Board of Medical Examiners, Board of Nursing, Alabama Department of Public Health), healthcare professional organizations (e.g., Alabama Pharmacy Association, Medical Association State of Alabama), and business and professional associations (e.g., Business Council of Alabama, Manufacturer Alabama, Alabama Farmers Federation). The consultant may assist in strategic planning. The consultant will educate and train certain staff members on matters relating to state and local policy and procedures.
