I. Turf Mowing/ Trimming- Vendor will need to mow all turf areas 20 times during the mowing season [once a week April 1, 2024 – August 31, 2024]; as weather permits (heavy rain or lack of rain could result in more or less mowing than usual). Vendor will trim around all buildings and other obstacles within the area. Vendor will remove all debris from grass areas prior to mowing. Vendor will rake or bag excess grass clippings as needed to maintain a neat appearance and vendor is responsible for disposal. i. Vendor will mow every other week [two times per month] for the month of March and September. II. Weed Control- Vendor will maintain all flowerbeds, tree rings, fence lines, parking lot and walkways to make sure they are weed free. This may be done by hand or by using herbicides. III. Edging- Vendor will edge all sidewalks, driveways, and curbs every second mowing to maintain a neat appearance. All edging debris shall be removed from walkways and curb areas and disposed of by the vendor. IV. Sidewalk Weeds- Vendor will keep all seams and cracks in sidewalks and curbs weed free. V. Pruning- Vendor will prune all ornamental shrubs, bushes, etc. 7 times during the mowing season to ensure a professionally maintained appearance. [a few times every quarter or as needed] VI. Mulching- Vendor will apply mulch in stages. During the initial mulch, vendor will place mulch in areas where mulch is not present or is so deteriorated it needs to be replaced. During top dress mulch, vendors will apply a new layer to areas that were previously mulched. [pine straw not preferred] VII. Leaf Removal and Property Clean Up- Vendor will conduct fall leaf clean up at site. All leaves will be removed from the turf areas, and mulch bed areas as needed. (Usually Fall) VIII. Winter Clean Up – 1 time every other week during winter months. IX. Spring Clean Up¬- Vendor will collect and remove all leaves and miscellaneous debris from the entire property as part of the spring clean-up.
