Escambia County DHR requires professional moving services to relocate office furniture and equipment to accommodate the Carpet Beetle treatment and phased flooring replacement project. This job must be performed in three (3) phases: Following the mandatory site visit, it has been determined that the volume of furniture and equipment to be moved exceeds the internal staging capacity of the facility. As a result, additional temporary storage space provided by the moving company will be required. Due to the complexity, coordination, and extended service time needed for each stage of work, each phase shall be treated as its own standalone project. Invoicing occurs only after the completion of each individual phase. An additional 53-foot enclosed trailer will be required and provided by the moving company to support staging and temporary storage of furniture during the project. Phase Two • Movers will relocate all furniture from the Phase 2 Rooms 140, 139, 138, 122, 120, 163, laundry room, vending area, front lobby, and main clerical area. • State DHR will move personal items. • If there are boxed items, DHR will mark boxes with appropriate room numbers for moving to marked temporary staging area and back to the labeled room number. • DHR-ISD staff shall break down computer equipment, bag and label for transport by ISD, including fax machines and network printers.
