Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Green River, Wyoming is seeking professional engineering services for the design of a capital construction project. Consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Environmental Engineering, including the modeling, design, and construction of in-river structures, and who are interested in providing professional engineering design services to the City of Green River, are invited to submit Statements of Interest related to the Killdeer Wetlands System Design. The City currently operates the Killdeer Wetlands Diversion Structure, located in the Green River just upstream from the City. The Diversion Structure and associated wetland system have been damaged in past high-water events, and are not operating in a manner envisioned or acceptable to the City of Green River and its partnering stakeholders. The Killdeer Wetlands System Design project is funded through a FEMA grant, and additional construction funding has been identified through a variety of sources, including several conservation organizations. The City expects the design process to take approximately one year to complete, after which the selected consultant may be retained for additional construction phase services. The consulting firm selected will work directly with the City of Green River and its partnering stakeholders.
