Specifications include, but are not limited to: • 3ft service loops should be provided on both ends of each run • Service Provider must provide a new Leviton 48 port patch panel for that rack or equivalent. o Each building will have it’s own cable category requirements. ▪ Pilot Butte Elementary (PBE) CAT6 ▪ Sage Elementary (Sage) CAT6 ▪ Black Butte High School (BBHS) CAT6a ▪ Stagecoach Elementary (SCE) CAT6 o Preferred Wire Leviton or Berk-Tek (lifetime warranty provided) o Belden, Commscope, General, Hitachi, Mohawk, or Superior Essex is acceptable (15- year warranty provided) o Or Equivalent wire – warranty will be a consideration when evaluating bids • Data runs should be behind the wall/ceiling with the least amount of conduit used possible. o If any conduit is to be utilized, conduit must be painted. o Painted conduits are the only acceptable conduit, Panduit or any other style of raceway is unacceptable. o Usage of existing conduit is permitted. • Data runs should be properly labeled and certified • All work must be performed after school hours. This building will require all work to be completed prior to 7:30am and after 3:30pm. • Service provider is to mount and install all security cameras as well as access points. o Service provider is to provide ceiling grid box system to secure cameras to ceiling grid. o Service provider is to keep running inventory of installed hardware as it is being installed. Within Bid Packet, there are different inventory sheets for the different hardware. • Service provider is to replace the Data Racks (Supplied by SCSD1 via 2023 Network Expansion – MISC Hardware Bid.) Existing racks are either Enclosed Wall Mount Racks or Open Frame Wall Mount Racks. This replacement will require all existing copper and fiber data to be transitioned to the new rack while maintaining uptime of network services as much as possible. These rack replacements will be performed in the following locations: o Sage Office IDF o PBE Office IDF o SCE Art Room IDF o ESE 2nd Floor Work Room IDF • Service provider shall provide and install ladder rack that will extend from wall to new data rack location. Service provider should ensure that proper bend radius of all cabling as well as provide the appropriate stringer radius drop parts (waterfall) components to ladder rack. • Service provider shall provide and install Vertical Cable Management on new racks installations.
