Specifications include, but are not limited to: The DOC intends to use the results of this solicitation to make one award for the purchase, installation, repair, and maintenance of key management systems for use within its facilities. The DOC intends to replace its existing key management systems over the length of the contract term. Each facility will request quotes for new system replacements on an as needed basis using the prices established on Attachment B – Cost Proposal Worksheet. Initially the DOC will require installation, training, and maintenance services from the contractor. However, over the length of the contract, DOC desires the capability to perform system installations and provide the technical support for the systems using DOC staff. Therefore, the awarded contractor will be required to train designated DOC staff on installation procedures and provide DOC with detailed training materials and documentation of system schematics. The selected contractor must have the capability to provide electronically locked cabinet(s) that require secure access via passcode, scanned ID, or other mechanism that records through computer software the time, date, and key(s) taken by individual authorized users. The system must also log unauthorized access attempts, allow restricted remote access, and be linkable to emergency power systems. The system must have the capability to add additional cabinets and modules, and operate on Windows 10 or above, with the ability to upgrade as new operating systems emerge.
