Description. This item is to allow Dane County to dispose of excavated material from road construction at the location indicated by the bidder in the price proposal. Disposal site must comply with all regulations relating to the disposal of solid waste. Disposal, Clean Fill will be crushed aggregate base and soil. Disposal, Asphalt Pavement will be clean asphalt pavement. Disposal, Concrete will be concrete pavement, sidewalk and curb & gutter free from re-enforcing. B. Method of Measurement. Disposal, shall be measured by the CY of material dumped by Dane County personnel at the disposal site. Dane County assumes the following CY measurements per truck. The listed truck measurements will be used to determine quantities of materials dumped. Quad-axle Truck 17 CY Tri-axle Truck 14 CY Single Axle Dump 9 CY C. Basis of Payment. Disposal will be paid for at the contract unit price bid per CY of material dumped in a pile at the site.
