Specifications include, but are not limited to: ALPR Cameras- 1. The system must incorporate near non-visible self-illumination such Infrared (IR) lights to assist cameras for effective license plate image capture in a variety of weather & lighting conditions. The camera housing shall be durable for all weather protection and sealed to IP67 standards. 2. The camera(s) must be self-adjusting and capable of capturing multiple license plate images by varying capture setting such as ISO, shutter, & gain to ensure a high quality plate image regardless of weather or lighting conditions. 3. The camera(s) must be self-adjusting and capable of capturing multiple vehicle reference image by varying capture setting such as ISO, shutter, & gain to ensure as high of quality image as possible based on weather or lighting conditions ALPR Processor- 1. The system must provide the customer with the ability to integrate to their existing MDT or MDC using Client-Server technology in order to minimize processor usage on their existing MDT or MDC. 2. The ALPR Processor must have a “self-trigger” mode to detect the presence of vehicle license plates in the cameras’ Field of View (FOV) for image capture from the camera. 3. The ALPR hardware must incorporate an intelligent Power Supply Unit (PSU) that provides for a safe start & shut-down each time the vehicle’s ignition is turned on & turned off.
