Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Wisconsin as represented by its Division of Facilities Development and Management (DFDM) is looking for a software solution which fulfills the functions of many different facets of capital project management planning providing a complete integrated software solution set for all business functions and automation tools requirements. The desired software solution must be scalable to meet DFDM’s requirements with the ability to expand, be implemented and accessed by other state entities, as well as integrate with the State’s enterprise infrastructure requirements and state ERP technology, which will be provided if/when a formal RFP is issued. Currently DFDM is using WisBuild, an in-house custom developed online project management tool which is available to state government staff of all levels, architects, engineers, contractors, user agencies and executives working on state building projects. A/E firms and contractors must register to gain WisBuild access. The ideal software will allow DFDM to record, route, process and retrieve information related to construction budget, collaboration for changes in work, processing and approving payments, and construction bidding and vendor contracting data. The division is striving for a web-based platform that is capable of allowing DFDM to define business rules and allow automation of processes through workflow and business intelligence tools that enable users to obtain reporting across multiple underlying databases.
