Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall shovel gate area to ensure proper functioning. Contractor shall clear and de-ice sidewalks and entryways.. Contractor shall complete all snow shoveling/clear accumulated snow and Ice from all exits, doors, overhead doors, passageways, driveways, mailboxes, and sidewalks and lots according to the Site Map (Exhibit A) for that site and prior to 7:00 a.m. No windows are to block any doorway, sidewalk or drive (plowed or unplowed). Snowblower discharge shall at all times be directed away from all buildings, vehicles, and people. Contractor shall not use street legal vehicles or heavy equipment (including but not limited to skid steers, graters, pickup trucks w/ plows) on sidewalks. Contractor shall clear accumulated snow and make a path for access to fire hydrants, sprinkler feeds and standpipes to maintain unrestricted access to utilities for facility and emergency personnel. Contractor shall clear accumulated snow and Ice from any entrance or sliding gate on DMA property. See site map if applicable per this location. Contractors shall plow snow from parking lots (plowing around the vehicles) and pavement areas and snow shall be moved to the designated location/s. Contractor shall remove any debris which may interfere with snow clearing operations (such as wire, bottles, tin cans, sticks, paper, and litter) from the area prior to beginning operations. Accumulated trash and debris will be removed and hauled away from the armory property by the Contractor. Contractor shall mark boundaries of the area to be plowed, prior to the first snowfall. Contractor shall stake fire hydrants on DMA property before the first snowfall. Contractor shall, maintain and remove stakes or markers to prevent damage to hydrants, trees, islands, curbs and landscaping. Markers shall be removed by May 1st of each year.
