Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1 Unit able to delicately process (dry or humidify) pollen and plant tissues 2 Plant tissues are to be processed aseptically. All process air and humidity additions are biologically sterile. 3 Drying capacity – 0.4lbs. of moisture/hr./50lbs of living plant material 4 Humidity is tightly controllable during the drying process regardless of drying temperature and regardless of room ambient humidity. 5 Drying temperature is tightly controllable between 120 F and 32 F 6 Drying process needs to use air sterilized by a HEPA filter and UV light 7 Air must be conditioned with sterile humid air to control the rate of plant material being dried 8 Unit needs to be PLC controlled. 9 Unit needs to be able to use our current building automation system (Andover) 10 Unit should be fully alarm capable 11 Unit should be energy efficient and be able to use our high voltage (480 volt) electrical system 12 Unit needs to be able to use our high quality sterile, RO water from the building 13 Unit needs to vent to our larger controlled air space 14 Unit needs to be pre-wired for a disconnect switch Meet Specifications Item Description Yes No 15 Exterior of unit needs to be aluminum 16 Unit needs to be shippable; constructed with a structural base frame. 17 Size restrictions: Unit needs to be no larger than 11 feet in length by 4.5 feet in depth by 5.8 feet in height. 18 The aseptic product cabinet’s interior dimensions should be approximately 32.5 inches in length by 17 inches in depth by 31 inches in height. 19 Sample cabinet must be compatible with current custom fabricated processing trays. These trays are 15.25 inches by 15.25 inches by 2.5 inches in height. 20 The sample cabinet must be sized to fit 16 of the custom fabricated processing trays; 8 on the left and 8 on the right. Ample airspace must be provided between trays to allow conditioned air to flow around product to achieve desired drying or humidification. Process trays need to slide in place on provided tray supports. 21 4 inches of clearance space must be provided on the bottom of the cabinet (below the last process try) to allow placement of additional custom sensors as needed (provided by customer).
