Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scrabble Creek Bridge replacement in Fayette County, West Virginia. The bridge will carry Fayette County Route 19/31 over Scrabble Creek and is located 0.01 mile north of the intersection with County Route 9/8. The new bridge will be constructed at the same location as the existing concrete arch bridge. The replacement bridge will consist of a single-span structure approximately 37 feet in length. The old concrete arch bridge will be demolished in conjunction with the new bridge construction. Two drilled pile/concrete lagging retaining walls will be constructed to support the soil on the downstream side of each bridge approach. The new bridge will abut an existing railroad bridge on the upstream side.
