Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 Steel Rolling Garage Door 3.1.1.1 Door must be constructed of Insulated 24 Gauge Flat Slats of Galvanized metal with a Light Gray Polyester Enamel Finish. 3.1.1.2 Door must be Twelve (12) feet Five (5) inches wide and Twelve (12) feet Eight (8) inches high. 3.1.1.3 Door must include all structural guides and installation hardware and weather-stripping necessary for installation. 3.1.1.4 Door must have a chain for manually opening. 3.1.1.5 Door must have a minimum of 1-year Warranty on parts and labor. 3.1.2 Electric Garage Door Opener 3.1.2.1 Electric motor driven opening device with a minimum of one half (½) horsepower 115-volt motor. Opener must have a Three (3) button wall control (Open, Close and Stop). 3.1.2.2 Door Opener must have a minimum of 1-year warranty on parts and labor. 3.1.3 Removal and Installation of Steel Rolling Garage Door - Vendor must remove old unit and reinstall new unit that is being bid. 3.1.3.1 Vendor must examine Framing and Electrical circuits and provide all materials necessary for installation. 3.1.3.2 Vendor must protect installed products until completion of project. 3.1.3.3 Vendor Must touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion. 3.1.3.4 Vendor Must provide Manufacturer’s Data sheets on each product being used. 3.1.3.5 Vendor Must provide a minimum of two (2) copies of each user manual for each product being installed. 3.1.3.6 Vendor Must provide proper preparation instructions and recommendations. 3.1.3.7 Vendor Must provide a list of factory-authorized service agencies including their addresses and telephone numbers 3.1.3.8 Vendor must Store equipment on site protected from weather, direct sunlight and temperature extremes. Do not remove packaging prior to storage 3.1.3.9 Vendor must inspect equipment for damages prior to acceptance. If damage is found, follow freight handler’s procedure claims. 3.1.3.10 Vendor must install in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. 3.1.3.11 Vendor is responsible for testing the unit to ensure that the equipment is properly operational. 3.1.3.14 Vendor is responsible for all materials required for the removal of existing unit and the installation of the new unit.
