Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind is soliciting bids to establish a contract for services by a homebound instructor who has a West Virginia Professional Certificate with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing. The Vendor shall furnish all labor, personal equipment and incidentals necessary to complete all Services as identified within this document even if such incidental work is not explicitly included; Prepare lesson plans for individual students which reflect appropriate student objectives and follow the State of West Virginia Next Generation standards and/or applicable school curricula. Lesson plans should focus on critical skills identified in student’s individualized educational plans. Prepare packets of materials related to the student’s critical skill area(s) for the student to use at home during homebound instructional program. These packets are to be supplied to the family on a weekly basis. Make regularly scheduled visits to the student’s home to review work and to provide instruction on the critical skill area(s). Evaluate student’s progress in achieving the critical skill area. Keep documentation and data concerning the student’s progress in meeting the critical skill identified in the individualized educational plan.
