Specifications include, but are not limited to: Branch of Laurel Run Drainage Structure is a 6'-6" x 5'-6" steel structural plate pipe carrying an Unnamed Tributary of Laurel Run under Interstate 68 at milepost 19.11. This project will remove the existing concrete invert that is damaged and install a new concrete invert in the bottom of the pipe as shown on the attached drawings. Sandbag cofferdams can be used around the structure to aid in dewatering the site. Water will be pumped around the cofferdams and released downstream. Any water in the work area will be pumped through a silt bag before being released downstream. After the site is dewatered, the proposed concrete invert will be placed in the bottom of the pipe. During construction, equipment should not be allowed in the flowing stream at any time.
