Specifications include, but are not limited to: 14.1. Service Availability and Reliability • Primary Services must be available twenty-four (24) hours a day, every day of the calendar year. • Primary Services must perform ninety-nine point nine hundred ninety-nine percent (99.999%) of the time during a calendar month. • Five (5) minute average End-to-end packet latency must be less than thirty (30) milliseconds. End to end, for the purposes of this Section, is defined as packets traversing transport paths between Purchaser’s Node to PSTN. • The Vendor must accept as the Primary Service Out of Service definition the inability to pass reliable data on any transport path due to excessive latency Primary Network Standards Vendor agrees that its network, as presented at each Purchaser point-of-presence, will, as applicable, function as, perform within, or meet the specifications of IEEE 802.3 2000 Edition (ISO/EIC 8802-3: 2000 (E)) standard for 50Mbps, 100Mbps, and 1000Mbps Ethernet. 14.2. Primary Services Connection Specifications Vendor agrees to provide, at all Purchaser Locations, a Primary Service interface in the form of high density copper-based eight (8) pin modular jack, or a small form factor (SFF) high-density fiber optic interface (LC, SC, MT-RJ) only when approved by WSDOT Project Manager in writing.
