Specifications include, but are not limited to: REGIONAL COORDINATORS 1. Serve as regional liaison and advocate with school districts, Educational Service Districts (ESDs), local education associations and other public schools, including all identified OSPI support providers about their promotion and support of National Board Certification, especially in schools on OSPI’s list of identified schools. 2. Serve as liaison and advocate with teachers interested in pursuing National Board Certification, focusing on diversifying National Board candidates and the NBCT workforce, and promoting accomplished teaching for students with disabilities, students of color, students experiencing poverty, and students learning the English language. 3. Coordinate and support regional outreach and mobilization efforts for understanding and recognizing the impact on student learning through National Board Certification. FACILITATOR TRAINERS 1. Design, coordinate, and teach National Board facilitator trainings. Dates shall be selected in coordination with OSPI and WEA learning institutes. 2. Review and update National Board Facilitator ToolKit annually, including the virtual training module and other projects related to Facilitator Training 3. Attend any meetings and appointments OSPI indicates pertinent to project efforts including up to two (2) Facilitator Trainings.
