Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide lead inspections for soil, paint and dust • Conduct lead risk assessments identifying lead hazards and clearance testing in residences after they have been remediated by a contractor, that have children under the age of six with elevated blood lead levels, residences that have been previously associated with a child under the age of six with elevated blood lead levels, residences that will be rented or are being rented by pregnant women, residences frequently visited by children under the age of six or vacant housing that may be eligible for lead hazard control funds; • Provide excellent, timely and quality lead inspections/assessments, and customer service to Lead Hazard Control Grant program beneficiaries and to the contractors that the Lead Risk Assessor will be working with; • Provide healthy homes assessment using the form provided by the LHCHH program focusing on the five deliverables established by the WDOH LHCHH and a separate scope of work for the repairs, and; • Support the State’s overall goal for preservation of healthy children and healthy homes along with creating safe housing stock and neighborhood revitalization.
