Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Set meetings with the WFCEB Selection Committee, and other stakeholders upon execution of a contract with the WFCEB to determine individual goals and objectives for the hiring process and to develop proposed competencies and criteria for the Executive Director position 2. Develop a comprehensive job description, candidate profile, and brochure in conjunction with the WFCEB 3. Develop a recruitment strategy including proposed timeline, advertising strategy, criteria for screening candidates, interview questions and evaluation process, communication plan and related tasks 4. Conduct a national recruitment effort, collect candidate resumes and cover letters, and follow up with telephone interviews to clarify each candidate’s qualifications and experience 5. Provide all applications to the WFCEB prior to the finalization of the candidate list 6. Screen all applications, create, and present a recommended candidate list containing at least five (5) candidates, based on the criteria agreed upon by the WFCEB Board 7. Assist the WFCEB with evaluating the candidates to be selected for interviews 8. Conduct the interview process, including candidate scheduling and logistics 9. Perform in-depth background and reference checks to evaluate candidates’ past job performance, educational background, criminal history, financial background, and any other pertinent factors
