Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor agrees to implement and operate the State of Washington’s AVS in two distinct phases, each of which will be priced individually and are summarized as follows: 1. PHASE 1: The Contractor, together with DSHS, will design and deploy a scalable, configurable, statewide Asset Verification System that meets the needs of the specific work processes managed by the individual administrations (Economic Services, Aging and Long Term Support and Developmental Disabilities). This will include an automatic collection and review of financial asset information, comparing account balances with program limits of each administration and potentially disqualifying asset transfers. 2. PHASE 2 [OPTIONAL]: The future goal of DSHS is to implement a fully integrated solution, including auto renewal functionality. This work is not currently funded and not formally in the scope of work but is a strategy DSHS wants to consider. If the funding is approved, the Contractor, together with DSHS, will design and implement a fully integrated solution with DSHS Eligibility Systems. This will include the sending and receiving of relevant AVS information for review and determinations.
