Specifications include, but are not limited to: All trees required to be cut shall be cut below the lowest live limb except when prevented by natural obstacles. All live limbs below the cutting point, including those which may originate below ground level, shall be removed. Trees required to be cut shall be completely severed from the stump. Stump height of cut trees shall not exceed 6 inches above ground level or 4 inches above natural obstacles. Cut angle shall be perpendicular to the long axis of the stem (flat). Cut trees shall be directionally felled away from unit boundaries, roads, telephone and electrical transmission lines, wildlife islands, established livestock trails or driveways, fence lines, monumented corners, bearing trees, leave trees, livestock and wildlife watering developments and streams.
