Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lincoln Elementary is an existing 2-story brick building constructed in 1948-49, consisting of 49,607sf. The scope of this project is to fully modernize this school with new finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems. A new 5,000sf gym will be constructed on the south end of the building (once the 3 portables are relocated elsewhere in the District); the existing gym will be converted to a new cafeteria and kitchen; and the existing cafeteria will be converted to a library. An elevator will be installed to connect each floor for ADA access. The buildings envelope will be upgraded to meet the Washington State Energy Code. Abatement will occur throughout the building. Foundation seismic upgrades are also required. A limited amount of site work is included to create new visitor parking and parent drop-off.
