The Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (hereafter called ‘L&I, Grantor’, L&I, or the department) is initiating this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit responses from individuals or organizations interested in entering into a grant agreement with L&I to distribute funding to registered apprentices and apprenticeship preparation participants for new work boots and other resources in correctional facilities and as they transition from incarceration to state registered apprenticeship programs. This solicitation is seeking a statewide non-profit organization with experience in providing supportive services to apprentices and Apprenticeship Preparation participants in correctional facilities and as they transition from incarceration to Washington State Registered Apprenticeship Programs. Supportive services must be within allowable guidelines for incarcerated and community supervised individuals.
